Producers
Bongwoo Lee
Since 1989, Bongwoo has produced and distributed over 250 films. He played a key role in introducing Korean cinema to Japan with titles like Shiri, JSA, and Memories of Murder. His production Pacchigi! topped Kinema Junpo’s Best Ten, and Hula Girls won Best Picture at the Japan Academy Prize. He has received numerous honors, including the Asian Filmmaker of the Year at BIFF and the Yodogawa Nagaharu Award.
Hiroyuki Taniguchi
After working at Nissho Iwai Corporation (now Sojitz Corporation), Hiroyuki became CEO of BBMF Inc. (now Beaglee Inc.) and launched the digital manga platform Manga Kingdom. Through his work in digital publishing, he has built strategic alliances across publishing, film, and gaming industries.
Tomonobu Ibe
After 11 years in the Securities Division of Goldman Sachs, Tomonobu founded Questry Co., Ltd. in 2022 and established Showrunners Co., Ltd. as its subsidiary in 2024. He is developing new financial mechanisms to enable capital flow into the entertainment industry. His personal hobby is music production.
Akihiro Yamamoto
Akihiro was involved in new product development at Japan Living Warranty Inc. (now Solvvy Inc.). He later joined Royalty Bank Inc., where he launched Japan’s first royalty trading platform, exploring the potential of fintech in the entertainment field.
Satoru Oshiro
Satoru previously worked as a management consultant in the TMT division at Deloitte. He joined Questry and Showrunners, where he focuses on bridging vision and execution, connecting storytelling with data and strategy.
Mikio Yamaguchi
Formerly at Sony and involved in recovery efforts after the Great East Japan Earthquake, Mikio Yamaguchi has served as a director at several startups. He joined the board of Questry in 2024 and supports the management of Showrunners. He also enjoys music production.
